I am a homeschooling, homemaking mom who loves the Lord. I enjoy gardening, baking, caring for my animals, crafting, sewing, reading, and being involved in church activities. My most important job at this season of my life is teaching my children to follow Christ Jesus and setting a good example for them on how to do that. I am also striving to learn to live more off the land and what I can grow or make on my own instead of buying it.
My husband, Kevin, provides for our family. He loves to tinker on old cars and dreams of someday visiting or moving to Alaska.
God has blessed us with 3 children ages 11, 10, and 8. Wichita, the oldest, loves all things electronic. Wyatt, the middle child, loves animals and nature. Montana, the youngest, is a girly-girl and loves all things purple.
We live on an acreage in rural Nebraska. Our current animal count is an Ayrshire milk cow - Dixie, her calf Ayshire X Jersey- Bessie, 4 bottle calves - Molly, Mac, Melvin, & Mars, 5 older calves - Millie, Matilda, 98, 99, & 100, English pointer - Stella, 2 lambs - Lambchop & Snap, 7 cats - Mia, Jigsaw, Peanut, Oreo, Caramel, Calico, & Greg, a couple litters of baby kittens, too many chickens to count, 3 ducks - Hollywood Hat, Stripe Eye, & Midnight, the flock of 14 ducklings they hatched this summer, and 1 pig :). God has richly blessed us and continues to every day.
