Stand Up For Family

Do you ever watch stand-up comedy?  I've watched some and though it usually leaves me laughing, most stand-up comedians are far from kid-friendly.  One of the hardest things for me, as a parent who is trying to raise kids in today's culture, is finding good family entertainment.  So, when I saw these videos called Stand Up For Family by American Family Insurance I was excited to share them with my kids (and all of you).  I really liked that the videos are not only family friendly, but also that they are about family.

I didn't have time to watch all of the videos yet, but of all the comedians Bill Bellamy was my favorite, especially the clip called "Street Lights".  It reminded me of my growing up years.  I can remember my mom "making" us go play outside and once we finally went we would stay out until we HAD to go back in.  I do this to my own children too! 

It is pretty cool that AmFam took the time to make up these fun, comedy clips.  They will really tickle your funny bone and when your kids want to know "What's so funny?", you can actually share with them.  Laughter is the best medicine, and being able to share that laughter with your family is like getting a double dose!!
