Ok, it is time to stop procrastinating and what better time of year than November. I have got piles upon piles of half-finished projects laying around my house. They are hidden in closets, stashed in totes, and piled up in the corners of the room. Many of them started out as gifts that never got finished or great ideas that fizzled out. Since November is generally cold and not great for being outside (and only 1 month away from Christmas), I think it will be a really good time to finish up all these projects - killing 2 birds as they say. :)
Not only will my house be less cluttered, less piles, and more space..... but I will also have a gift for most of the people on my list without ever having to leave the house or spend a dime. Most of my projects involve sewing so they are time consuming and I hope I can finish most of them. The first project I decided to tackle is a latchhook pillow. Since it took a whole year to complete the first 4 rows of latchhook, I was completely thrilled to complete the remainder of the project in 3 days!! Montana (queen of pillow making) sewed me up some mini-pillows to match and we decorated them with glitter paint. My next project is a cross-stitch design that I have been working on for about 3 years!! I only have the outer border and printing to do. I am off to a running start!!
(I am terribly sorry I cannot post pictures of these amazing projects ;) but they might be for you and I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise!!)
